OMGoodness

Just got into the station for the evening to find a letter that I am introducing the band at the Heid Music Concert in Appleton tonight. Such an exciting but scary thing at the same time. I love to interact with many people but alone on stage with a mic??? This won't be as easy as karaoke used to be at 1:00 in the morning;) Time to crack open the shell and have a great time! Looking forward to it!!!

Keepin' busy

What nice weather we had this weekend! A little muggy but not bad at all, definately was nice to get a break with some rain. A surprise birthday party for my sister on Saturday and a cookout for my brother, to celebrate being stationed on the west coast with the US Navy, on Sunday. MAN-O-MAN....busy, busy! Hopefully we have nice weather again this weekend because I can get used to this!! With Rock USA & Paperfest starting this week, I'm hoping that they don't get stuck in the mud pits like Country USA goers did. Oh well, when you're there to have a great time, I guess that's what you'll do....although the mud may be just added entertainment for Rock USA music....:)

I was introduced to this youtube video a few days ago. At this hour, I don't know if it is oddly tricking me into being very hungry/thinking that it looks very tasty...or if I should just be nauseous. Nope, too hungry right now, stopping at McD's for dinner:) Hope you all had a great and safe Independence Day weekend!

What a weekend!

WOW...just a small word to explain the weekend. I'm currently on a week long "stay-cation" from my day job so I wanted to jam pack my week with only fun things to do. On Friday I took my littlest brother to do some mini golfing, batting cages, shopping...and then to ChickenFest! It was so much fun. I'm glad he still finds me "cool" to hang out with at the age of 14;) Saturday, I worked with KISS FM at ChickenFest, it was a long day but the fun was totally worth it! I got to walk around and take a few pictures of people enjoying ChickenFest. The best were the little kids having a blast on the kiddie rides, to be that young again:) Also, meeting iSquare and Laze & Royal was definately a highlight! Their performances were AWESOME! I woke up today to find that I have 100% of my hearing back from that night:) haha The bass was bumpin' SO loud, but that definately makes for a great time. Dancing & bass go hand-in-hand right?!

Hi Everyone!

I am Melissa, obviously. I'm currently finishing up my Event Management degree at Fox Valley Tech while interning at KISS FM. Also, I'm working a different job full-time...blah. It's awesome getting out with KISS FM and attending all of the fun events this summer! I'm definately looking forward to all the experience that I will gain from being a part of KISS. A little about me: I grew up in a small farm town (although I'm not a hick), I'm addicted to celebrity gossip, I may have a little OCD when it comes to organization and, plain and simple, I like to have fun!

I'm excited about ChickenFest this weekend. I have lived in Appleton for 5 years and have not attended in the past. I am hoping to see ISquare cause I'm terribly addicted to "Hey Sexy Lady" right now:) haha Can't wait! Hope alot of you plan on being there, should be a great time, as always!
